Who we are ...
Dogs for Life Training events were initiated by Philippa Williams KCAI (CDA, WDA, FT) and first held at Hartpury College, Gloucestershire in 1994 and have been running ever since with increasing interest and success. In 1997 Castlemans Gundogs took off with her own line of Golden Retrievers & Labradors which concentrates more on the Gundog side of training.
Philippa prides herself in never standing still and is always looking for new and interesting venues and experiences, together with the latest in behavioural knowledge and training techniques.
Each dog and handler will be taken on their own merits and individual requirements will be met to bring out the best in every partnership.
All breeds of Gundogs and all types of owners deserve to take a break and now is your opportunity. We cover puppy training from fourteen weeks of age right through not only to a well behaved family member but also enough control to work your dog for whatever discipline it was breed for but also up to competition level be it for Working Test & or Field Trials.

In the course, you will see her live coaching other teams! Something new and unique. Follow the link if you wish to purchase the programs. Content Covers:

What we offer ...
All our dogs and handlers have an initial assessment which allows us to determine the correct course of training for each team. It is as much about training the handler as it is about training the dog. We are looking to forge a perfectly balanced team.
